Balancing movement and place is the shared responsibility of the various organisations and individuals who plan, design, deliver, and manage our public space and movement systems.
This hub offers Movement and Place practitioners access to a learning environment with both virtual and face-to-face components.
The eLearning series explains the NSW Movement and Place Framework and provides clear examples of how you can apply it. Through these 6 modules, you’ll gain an understanding of where the NSW Movement and Place Framework can be applied, who implements it and the broad benefits it offers to all practitioners and communities. You’ll need to set aside about 3 hours to complete all 6 modules.
If you are a Transport for NSW employee, log onto Transport Equip Success Factors and search the library for ‘Movement and Place’ to undertake the eLearning so that the training appears on your learning record. For all other users, you can access the eLearning modules below.
After completing the eLearning modules you can expand your knowledge by taking the NSW Movement and Place Framework course .
This in-person course will be delivered by UTS in a workshop format in various locations across NSW. You will be encouraged to collaborate with other participants and apply Movement and Place principles to a local road or street to foster diverse perspectives and ignite creative responses through design and critical discussion.
